To complete this MLO I took three courses that meet the requirements. The first course was the Pre-Capstone for Spanish Majors. This course is specifically designed to assist students with their Capstone project where they must use personal research and analysis to support information they believe contributable to the study of Spanish Language and Hispanic Culture. I was guided in the process of completing my capstone proposal and finalizing the preliminary steps toward this ePortfolio which is another requirement for this major. This ePortfolio is designed to provide evidence that I have progressed and met the core requirements for the Bachelors in Spanish. The second course follows the Pre-Capstone for Spanish Majors. In this course I was introduced to the major in terms of career paths and teaching credential preparation. This allowed me to understand the impact of my major in jobs for the community and how my personal cultural and linguistic knowledge will assist in the benefit for the community. Lastly, the course that follows and is the last step to the full completion of my Capstone project, both written and oral presentation, was the WLC Major Capstone. In this course, I was able to acquire a knowledge in more professional research and the synthetization of information in order to support my purpose for my topic of the Capstone subject. I was also able to finalize my ePortfolio in this course with feedback from my instructor to improve any mistakes or improvements that needed to be fixed or made before publishing. Each of these courses consisted of research through different technologies and has helped me finish course assignments. For my Capstone project I depend on authentic primary and secondary sources as well as sources that are peer-reviewed. This is what made online databases important for my project and the completion of this MLO. I would like to mention the importance of technology for these courses was unique because of the current circumstances of the COVID pandemic, where I was dependent on technology to an extreme extent for all of my college student courses and resources to complete all six MLOs.
